Walmart patrol!!!

Okay, this is totally random, but tonight, I was shopping at Wal-Mart and there was a police officer pacing back and forth and examining the entire meat section and talking to another officer on his radio about it. He did this for like ten minutes.
We left the meat section and came back and he was still doing it! I wonder if he was trying to keep people from injecting poison in the meat... That is why I don't care for meat, lol. :) Haha, just thought I would share with you! Have a great night!

My Skin Care Routine

Recently I have been taking extra special care of my skin so it looks beautiful for back to school. With that being said, I thought it may (Or may not) interest you to know what I do and use.

1.) Facial Cleanser
Aveeno Positively Radiant facial cleanser makeup remover
-I use this product in the morning when I wake up, to start off clean for the day. Then, in the evening, right before I go to bed, I use it again to clean my face and remove the makeup.

2.) Facial scrub
Clinique 7-day scrub cream
-I use this product after I wash my face in the evening. It works best if your face is dry, so I dry my face by patting it with a towel after I wash with Aveeno, then apply the cream and scrub gently until the ex-foliating beads disappear then rinse off with warm water.

3.) Facial Mask
Mary Kay Clarifying Mask Formula 3
-I use this product once a week, at night after I have cleaned my face. On the night I use this product, I do not use the Clinique scrub cream. Your face must be dry when applying or it defeats the purpose. You leave the mask on for 10 minutes then rinse it off with warm water-try not to move your face or talk while it is on so it doesn't crack.

This is what I do for my skin. I know beauty reps usually tell you to use all of the same brand with face products like make-up remover, moisturizer, masks, etc. I do not and I have not had irritation by using three different brands, so unless it does irritate your skin or cause you to break out, I would say it is fine to use different products. :) Have a great day! <3

EOTD: Smokey blue eye

Hey guys! I thought it was about time I did a makeup post, so I decided to do some eye looks. This is a simple Blue Smokey eye. To do it, do a regular smokey eye, then at the end, just go over top of the crease area and definition with a pretty blue to add color!

Butternut
elf brightening eye color in Punk Funk (I only used the blue and white as a highlight)
elf 27 piece mini makeup collection (I only used the Black, Dark Gray, and Light Gray eyeshadows)
To create this look, I used:
Metallic Olive
elf cream eyeliner in Black

Obviously this look is a little more dramatic and should probably not be worn for everyday use... LOL. Have a great day, everyone!

Story time!

Yay! I get to tell you guys a story! :) Yesterday was a very interesting, long, unexpected day for me. I had gymnastics practice and I was planning on going home, Lydia, a girl on my team, and spending the night at her house. Well, with 45 minutes of practice left, Lydia was doing a front-handspring front-tuck on the tumble track and over rotated so she knee-ed herself in the mouth. Instantly there was blood filling up her mouth and she was in a lot of pain and was bawling her eyes out so everyone turned to look and we discovered she was hurt. Well, she iced it, and propped herself up, and had our coach call her mom. Her mom decided to pick her up early so she could take care of her. I was unsure of whether or not I would still go home with them. I thought it might be easier for Lydia if she was just with her mom, but they insisted that it was fine for me to come over. So, we left practice about 15 minutes early and drove to her house. As soon as we got to her house, we discovered her tooth was loose so her mother called the doctor and the doctor said, "No more monkeys jumping on the bed!!!" haha that wasn't what happened, I just had to put that in there. Her mother called the dentist and they were able to see Lydia immediately so we left and went to the dentist. Once we got to the dentist, they X-Rayed her mouth and decided she needed braces to try to pull her loose tooth back into place. So, I sat there and watched while Lydia got braces!! Oh, yeah, and I forgot to tell you that she busted both her top and lower lip. The dentist told us we needed to go have a doctor stitch up her lip because the cut was a very deep cut. Therefore we drove to the nearest UTC to get stitches. Well, three or four doctors came out to examine her lip to see what kind of stitching she needed, but they all said it would heal on its own and it was an awkward position. We left the UTC and went to Lydia's grandmother's house to show her, since she lived nearby. Then, because we were all very hungry, we went to Orange Leaf and got some yummy fro-yo!! :) Then, we drove back to Lydia's house, picked up her brother and took him out to Georgetown to a pool, then drove home and finally relaxed. Whew! That was a load of typing. So yeah, that was just one of my busy days from the past week!

Lydia is fine, she just has headaches, swollen lips, swollen nose, bruises, braces and a deep cut in her lip. Other than that she is fine! :) Haha yeah.....

<3

coming soon...

sorry I haven't blogged in awhile... I have been quite busy. But don't worry, I should be blogging soon, again.  I have a story to share, some pictures to post, a bedroom update, and some other things. I just wanted to let you know I shall return to blogging soon! :) Thanks for your patience. <3

"Well, that's unfortunate!"

Ah-mazing! I just went and saw 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2' and it was spectacular! I went along with Saba, Sara, Kylie and Grace, and it was so nice to see them all again and to enjoy the movie! We also saw Chris Irving!!! :D Haha. The theater was jam-packed, and I am not the least bit surprised. The plot was wonderful, the graphics were stupendous and was overall amazing. I would totally recommend this to you! It is PG-13, I think because of a little violence and language only two or three times.

The title of this post is a quote from Ron from pretty early on in the movie, and my friends and I found it funny. Wanna know why I chose it? Go see the movie and you shall find out! It isn't a key to the movie or anything, it was just kind of funny. "Not MY Daughter...!" Hahaha....

Saba: Do the chicken dance!!! Dun-nu-nu-nu-nu-nu-nu,  Dun-nu-nu-nu-nu-nu-nu, Dun-nu-nu-nu-nu-nu-nu, clap clap clap clap!! Weren't you so sad when Gobby died?!?!? Haha... Here lies Dobby!   :'(

Today, we, (and I did help), finished with the light blue color around the top half of my room, as well as the first coat of the white for the back of the bookshelf. I didn't get to sleep in my bed though, last night, because there is stuff all over my bed-I will probably have to sleep on the couch again tonight. :P My dog woke me up this morning by licking my hand-not fun. Well, that's all for now! Good night, y'all! <3

Flooreography: Check!

Yay! Today I finished my flooreography for my floor routine! There were a couple of things we ended up not using in my routine, but oh well. It is very gorgeous and fun, but oh-so exhausting. I am so out of breath at the end; it is a spectacular workout! :D Anyway, today we did not get my room painted-or yesterday. Yesterday my mom and dad worked on sanding the walls where there were some rough spots and filling the holes from nails. Today my mother started painting the built-in bookshelf in my room, because the back of it has never been painted, so it is that generic, ugly, tan color that you see in new houses.
Before beginning painting. Yes, I had to empty everything out of it, which was a pain. lol. Can u see the ugly color I am referring to? It will be nice and white soon! :D

Haha yeah... as I speak my mother is painting around the top of the walls, the lighter blue color!!! :) As you may have noticed, the only real thing I have done in this whole process is the cleaning and such-due to my elbow. I can't really do these things efficiently with the pain in my elbow. :'(
....
I know this post is all over the place, but that makes it more interesting, right??
Tonight we had delicious cupcakes that my brother made and decorated himself, to look like a golf hole:

Isn't that cool? They were yummy, good job, Bro! Then afterwards, we went and played mini-golf! Fun, fun, fun! :) Another different topic: currently there is a fair that comes every year to Lexington in the park behind my neighborhood, and it looks so amazing with all of the lights on! I took some pics tonight, but all you can see without getting up close is the ferris-wheel:

I hope you had a wonderful day today and I hope my room comes along quickly! :D

Extreme Makeover: Bedroom Edition

Hey! So, some of you guys may remember my Electrocuted!!! post, well, I decided to take a picture of the electrodes hooked up to me! :)
Haha, cool right? :P Anyway, as the post's title says, I am redoing my room! :D Currently I am in the process of painting it! It is going to be so gorgeous! Yesterday, my mom painted the ceiling (white) and today she painted the sample colors on the walls... well, I couldn't decide which color to use, so I will use both of them! The actual wall painting will begin tomorrow and I am so excited! I hate doing the work and messing my room up to do so (it is currently a complete wreck!) Here are some pics:

Before everything

Yesterday, painting the ceiling

Sample colors on wall, aren't they beautiful? :)

So, I will probably end up getting a white bedspread, and accent the room with black, white, grey, silver and turquoise. I have already gotten two beautiful lamps and a piece of furniture that I will probably use as a window seat. I am so excited for the result and will keep you updated! :D Have a great rest of the day!

Electrocuted!!!

Well I had physical therapy yesterday, and so we tried a new method of therapy: sending electricity through my body, through a medicated anti-inflammatory patch to help the medicine flow faster into my body. It was tingly and funny feeling and hurt but it wasn't too bad. I hope it will help, but we will have to see! The patches (there were two of them) left red marks on my arms when we took them off, and I have bruises from the deep muscle massages, ultrasounds and stretching, as well as soreness from all of the procedures. :( On the bright side, yesterday I worked on my flooreography! (Floor choreography for my routine...) The music is a romantic, sophisticated tango and is very elegant.
 http://floorexpressmusic.com/full-length-demos/CD1210-Libertango-Demo.mp3
I have 3/4 of it flooreographed, with the exception of the tumbling passes since I cannot tumble with my injury. Also, Thursday I was working on fulls, (So much FUN!!!) and my teammates laughed the first time I attempted one because I was so unsure of what I was doing that it looked like a flop! Haha, they improved as I continued on... they shouldn't be the ones to laugh though, none of them have tried one before! lol. :D For those of you who do not know what a full is:
Except in gymnastics, you have a completely straight body, toes pointed, legs together, arms straight, etc. :D

I hope you have a splendid rest of the day! Shout out to Sara and Saba: Cannot wait to see you this afternoon! ;)

Bath and Body Works Collection and Haul

Hey everyone! Happy 4th of July! I hope you are having a great Independence Day!
Today, I went to B&BW, even though the sale ended yesterday.... I picked up 5 items today, and saved $13! :) After B&BW I went to Toys 'R' Us/Babies 'R' Us to get a birthday present for twins that live down the street from me (they just turned 1!).
Chilling @ Babies 'R' Us in the most comfortable chair in the world!!!

The store was having a sale, Sundays/Mondays all Icecream sandwiches, Rainbow popsicles, Pepsi and Diet Pepsi are 25 cents each, so I got some of that... (I felt like I was going to throw up)
When I got home, I lined up all my B&BW fragrance sprays and decided to lay out all of my other B&BW products too. I took a picture:
Top Row: (Slatkin & Co.) Mint Chocolate, Summer Berries & Tropical Spice candles, Warm Vanilla Sugar Shimmer Hair and Body Mist, PINK Soft & Dreamy body mist & body lotion.
Middle Row: Left-Right: Secret Wonderland, dark kiss, black amethyst, twilight woods, sensual amber, Japanese cherry blosson, p.s. I love you, sea island cotton, white citrus, carried away.

***Bold and Underlined indicates products purchased today***

The three body sprays I bought today were $2 each, the 2oz. lotion was $3.50, the 3oz. lotion was $2. (The 2oz. lotion was more expensive because it is the brand new product from the Citrus collection.) As mentioned, I saved $13. I tonly cost $11 for all five items and would normally cost $24. :D

I am so eager to wear all of my new products and I hope you have a great rest of the day!

Happy (Early) 4th!

Tomorrow is the 4th of July! (Just in case you didn't know.....) My weekend got off to a fun start yesterday when a family we know came to our pool with us and hung out for three-ish hours then we had a cookout and ate and set off our own fireworks! :D Here is a little video I put together of some photos and videos I took last night! It is so cool to see the younger kids' expressions when they go off and when they play around with the sparklers! Enjoy! And I hope you have a great 4th of July!
