Canoeing with the Cunninghams

Today, I went canoeing with my whole family and my friend's whole family. It was a 6 mile route (Trail, road, stream??? Idk...) and it was a ton of fun! My brother and Jake's brother were in a canoe together and came this close to tipping over, but didn't.... Haha. We canoed for about two hours, then went to Steak 'N' Shake afterwards, and ate together. Our families got along so well and had a ton of fun, I would definitely do it again. The weather was perfect, it was supposed to rain, but it was nice and warm, with a little bit of a chilly breeze. The day couldn't have gone any better!

So, after we were done canoeing and got to the restaurant, I changed clothes because I was getting cold. As soon as I changed clothes, I sat down at the table and picked up my glass to take a drink of my water. I wasn't paying attention and totally poured my water all over my lap!! :O It was so funny, Jake and I sat there and laughed and laughed. I had a great day and couldn't have hoped for anything more! <3

Canoeing, Kanoodling, and Canaking

Tomorrow I am scheduled to canoeing with a good friend of mine and I am very excited to do so because I rarely get to see them and canoeing is actually pretty fun. :) I am hoping and praying that the weather will be nice though, because if it isn't, well, then I won't get to go.
Today was a blah kind of day. Nothing exciting happened. One test, one quiz, no projects or anything. No inside jokes. Only bad news and depressing stuff. I may go to my school's football game tonight, but I haven't decided yet. I also may go to a block party tonight with a friend, but I don't know about that either...

So sorry for the absence recently... I'm so overloaded with school and gymnastics and church and doctors appointments. I have some new makeup to show y'all that I will be posting soon (hopefully) so yeah.... Sorry this is really boring. Hope for spectacular weather tomorrow!!! <3

Atalanta 'Movie'

Warning! This movie has horrible sound quality, so be sure to handle your volume knob! Also, this was created in 2009, so it is pretty old... I just found it on my flashdrive yesterday and thought it would be fun to post. :) Enjoy!

This movie (our version) of Atalanta, was made with the help of Angela Maske, Saba Khandani, Sara Khandani and Julia Wallin, (and Angus too)! I had a ton of fun doing this and it brings back great memories! <3

Wow, it's been awhile!

School has really drained my energy recently, which is evident through the lack of posts... I apologize for that. Recently all I have done is slept, ate, gone to gymnastics, eaten at Orange Leaf (FTW), gone to PT, gone to the chiropractor, gotten my phone taken away at school and some other unimportant stuff. lol. BTW, I had an amazing time at your partay, Ang! Thanks for the invite and hope to see you tomorrow! :)
Today in english, we had a rap-off and the winner was the quietest kid in class! Everyone was so shocked and it was the highlight of my day by far.... :D LOL

I need to get some sleep 'cause I have a ton of homework this weekend and need energy. Good night world! <3

...September 11...

Ten years ago to date, something tragic occurred. I don't need to explain what happened, because you should know what happened. If you don't then you may want to ask someone or just go to and click on any of the headlines, because they all have to do with 9/11.

25 Most Powerful Photos

The above picture was found in a photo slideshow on Yahoo's homepage today. The link for the slideshow is posted above (The 25 Most Powerful Pictures) and is filled with very moving pictures. If you go to Yahoo's homepage today, please click on the "Pause to Reflect" button, and take a moment to reflect on what has happened, and if you pray, to say a little prayer. <3

R.I.P. Nick

Four years ago today, a friend of mine died from a 2+ year battle with neuroblastoma cancer at the age of 13. In honor of him, on every paper today I wrote the date and next to it, the title of this post, as well as writing it on my hand. If you are interested in reading about Nick, you can check out this link,

He was a fun person to be with and hang around, I actually wrote part of a song about him... I have some fond memories of times spent with him and I wish he were still here to spend summer nights camping with. His family was really strong through it all and I know it was rough for them. We all miss you and love you, Nick! Hope you are having fun in skateboard heaven! <3

Nick was a skateboarder, and in memory of his death, family set up a skateboarding fund to provide skateboards for under-privileged children to give them hope through skateboarding as Nick experienced. He was a great kid and he will never be forgotten!

Last Sunday Night (TGIS)

Last night, I spent the night at Erin's house after her family and the Relich's family came over for an end of summer party. Erin and I had a blast, we ate pizza, danced in the rain, played corn-hole (Is it your turn or mine?.....It's the You's and Me's...) watched the movie, Tangled, watched UK cheer team videos, listened to music and spent an hour braiding our hair... after braiding our hair, we went to sleep and didn't look in a mirror until we woke up. I must say the result was astounding and shocking. We laughed so hard, because our hair had become afros... It was a fun filled night and I was glad to get to see her, even though I will see her tomorrow :)

I hope you have had a fun labor day weekend, and there is still time left to do stuff if you haven't already... I know I have stuff planned tonight. Good Luck Tates Creek football! :)

I was stalking on Twitter... 9 Things I hate...

I was reading Angela's tweets on Twitter and found some funny quotes, some of which I can relate to.!/RelatableQuote

Some of my favs:

-Four main reasons a girl will stop.texting you: 1. You got her mad 2. You got boring 3. She fell asleep 4. You said the letter 'K'.
-In elementary school, putting your head down was a punishment. Now, in high school, thats all you wanna do.
-Saying "oh!" like you get it. But you still have no idea.
-*types in password*, pass doesn't work, **OMG I'M HACKED**.... oh wait... CAPS LOCK WAS ON
-Saving a photo as jkjksghjhgjfkhgk because you're too lazy to write a proper title
-Texting the same person all day and all night, & never getting tired of it, because you like them THAT much. :)
-Dear guys. if you like a girl, don't make her start the conversation, cause then she worries she's being annoying. sincerely, every girl
-When a girl cries for a boy, it simply means she misses him. When a boy cries for a girl, he loves her more than you could ever imagine.
-What if your pillow Could collect your dreams and when you wake up, You could plug it into your computer And watch them over again.
-That awkward moment when you laugh randomly because you remembered something super funny.
-Some people are like clouds. When they disappear, it's a brighter day.
-Girls find out everything, so I advise you to not lie to them..........
-When a girl tells you about her problems it does not mean that she's complaining. She trusts you......
-When I say, "I miss school," I mean my friends & the fun we had, not the lessons & teachers........
-The awkward moment when you have to stare at a text for five minutes in order to figure out how to reply......
-Do something right and no one remembers. Do something wrong and no one forgets.......
-There's always some truth behind: Just kidding, Knowledge behind: I don't know, Emotion behind: I don't care & Pain behind: It's okay.
-Walk up to the Refrigerator full of food. Walk away "MOM THERE'S NOTHING TO EAT!"
-Dear Google, could you sit next to me during an exam? Sincerely, every student
-When a girl says "It's okay", "I'm fine", or "Don't worry about it", it's not okay, she's not fine, & you should definitely worry about it.
-The awkward moment when you have crunchy food in a room full of silent people.
-Laughing so hard, no noise comes out, so you sit there clapping like a retarded seal *** (I love this one!!!!)
-Me: Dad can I go to a 50 Cent concert? Dad: Here's $1, take your sister too
-Giving your friend the "when did we ever learn this?!" look during a test
-Saying "oh!" like you get it. But you still have no idea.

I could go on and on forever with quotes, these are just a few of my favs! :) Hope you smiled, if not, who are you and where do you live???

This next part of the blog post I received in a forward and it made me smile, so I thought I would share it with you...

9 Things I hate about people:

*1. People who point at their wrist while asking for the time.... I know
where my watch is pal, where the heck is yours? Do I point at my butt when I
ask where the toilet is? **

**2. People who are willing to get off their butt to search the entire room
for the T.V. remote because they refuse to walk to the T.V. and change the
channel manually.

3. When people say 'Oh you just want to have your cake and eat it too'.
You're darn right! What good is cake if you can't eat it?

4. When people say 'it's always the last place you look'. Of course it is.
Why the heck would you keep looking after you've found it? Do people do
this? Who and where are they?

5. When people say while watching a film 'did you see that?'. No, I paid $12
to come to the cinema and stare at the stupid floor.

6. People who ask 'Can I ask you a question?'.... Didn't really give me a
choice there, did ya sunshine?

7. When something is 'new and improved!'. Which is it? If it's new, then
there has never been anything before it. If it's an improvement, then there
must have been something before it, and it couldn't be new.

8. When people say 'life is short'. What the heck?? Life is the longest
freaking thing anyone ever does!! What can you do that's longer?

9. When you are waiting for the bus and someone asks 'Has the bus come
yet?'. If the bus came would I be standing here?

Labor day weekend...

Tomorrow is the last day of school before the it is The LAST days that the pool is open!!! Augh! The closing of the pool symbolizes the end of summer for me, so I am very disappointed. So far, school has been swell, (Yes I said swell...) and I am taking it one step at a time. Even though I am enjoying school, tomorrow I will be shouting TGIF! :) Tomorrow night, I have gymnastics, but I am cutting practice short so I can go to the Henry Clay VS. Belfry football game because my cousin is a freshman starting on the varsity team, and just so happens to be playing HC! (How convenient...) I am excited to go, I'm not sure why, but I am. Saturday, I don't know what I am doing, but I do know that Plato's closet is having their special grab bag sale: everything you can fit into one of their HUGE bags for $20! I don't really know what I am doing on Sunday, either but I do know one of my best-est-est-est friends is coming over with her fam for a cookout (I think that's what it is...) and then going to the Dunbar VS. Tates Creek football game that night. :) And of course I will have homework, but I am not too concerned about that as of right now.

I am sorry I haven't blogged in awhile, getting back into the swing of things with school is such a transition from summer, so I have been trying to get a routine down, and it is taking longer than expected. Haha, oh well.

Creek is treating me well, and I have met lots of awesome new people, and cannot wait to get to know them all better, but they don't replace my LTMS friends-I miss y'all!!! Have a great Labor Day Weekend! :)
